Licensed Vocational Nurse (School Based)

School-Based LVN – 1:1 Student Support

$35–$40/hour W-2 | Full-Time | School-Day Schedule

Looking for a nursing role where you can make a meaningful difference for one student instead of juggling a full patient load? Candor Consulting is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student with complex medical needs in a school setting. This is a great fit for an LVN who enjoys pediatric care, values consistency, and wants a predictable school-day schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 nursing support during the school day
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Provide G-tube care and feedings
• Follow seizure precautions and emergency protocols
• Provide respiratory treatments and oxygen support as ordered
• Monitor vital signs and changes in condition
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and activities of daily living
• Provide wheelchair support and possible transportation/bus coverage
• Complete nursing documentation and communicate with the care team

What We’re Looking For

• Current Texas LVN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
• Dependable and comfortable working independently in a 1:1 setting
• ​​​​​​​Pediatric, private-duty, school nursing, G-tube, seizure, or respiratory experience is highly preferred.
