Licensing Associate
You will manage the global licensing agenda across banking, payments, wealth, and crypto jurisdictions. You will track applications, milestones, deadlines, dependencies, and risks; coordinate internal stakeholders and external counsel; prepare regulatory submissions and related materials; improve licensing systems and playbooks; monitor regulatory developments; and support license renewals and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a single source of truth for active and upcoming global license expansions
- Track licensing milestones, deadlines, dependencies, and risks
- Build and manage project plans for licensing workstreams
- Coordinate external counsel and local advisors
- Translate regulatory requirements into actionable cross-functional workstreams
- Draft submissions, policy documents, regulatory responses, and internal materials
- Coordinate regulatory submissions, implementation tables, and go-live audits
- Align global teams with in-market General Managers and licensing leads
- Design and improve licensing systems, templates, and playbooks
- Develop frameworks for evaluating new license requirements
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise leadership on licensing implications
- Support license maintenance, renewal, and compliance
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in MBB management consulting or an early leadership role at a high-growth startup
- Structured problem-solving and analytical skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Project management and organisational ability
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes workstreams
- Ability to learn new domains across legal, regulatory, financial, and technical subject matter
- Ability to operate in fast-moving, early-stage environments with ambiguity
