Licensing Commercial Manager, EMEA Agents
The Licensing Commercial Manager will drive Universal’s consumer products business across selected agent-based markets in EMEA. This 360-degree role will manage agent-led activity and key global partners, ensuring alignment with regional strategy and budget expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director, EMEA Agents, to manage external agent teams and deliver locally relevant plans that drive growth across key categories and retail accounts.
- Work collaboratively across internal teams, including Legal, Finance, Category, Retail and Franchise, to ensure clear communication, effective information flow and alignment on key deliverables.
- Ensure incoming deals support business growth in line with deal guidelines and category strategy.
- Own the quarterly forecast cycle for appointed markets, ensuring agent compliance and accuracy in submissions.
- Work with agent teams and relevant stakeholders to deliver retail marketing campaigns, launch plans and retail placement activity within allocated budgets and franchise guidelines
- Liaise with external stakeholders, Master Toy, Agent Teams (Category and Retail) to deliver accurate records and reports on launch collections and retail placement.
- Coordinate business reviews, retail calendars, marketing budgets, franchise data and pitch materials for licensee, retail and Key Partner Meetings
Administration:
- Track stakeholder activity and agent hub updates, providing weekly progress reports.
- Maintain databases, spreadsheets and sales materials, including licensee lists and brand presentations.
- Manage vendor setup, purchase orders, invoice coding, payment follow-up and direct-cost tracking.
- Track deals through execution and payment, ensuring accurate follow-through.
- Manage own diary, calls, expenses and key deadlines in line with business cadence.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Business management experience in a cross-cultural environment.
- Confidently manages and communicates with commercial partners, senior stakeholders, internal teams and international partners.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Experience delivering retail marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
- Additional languages, such as Polish or Turkish, are helpful but not essential.
- Proactive, solutions-focused self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
- Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills; Keynote and Mac knowledge preferred.
