Core Responsibilities of a Inspection Manager
(Reporting to the Total Service Manager)
Field Team Leadership
- Direct Oversight of Technicians: Supervise day-to-day activity of fire alarm, sprinkler, extinguisher, and suppression technicians.
- Daily Dispatch & Labor Planning: Ensure techs are scheduled efficiently, with appropriate skill sets assigned to jobs.
- Daily Work Order Review: Ensures completed WOs are ready for billing
- Timecard & Payroll Review: Approve daily/weekly hours, ensuring accuracy and overtime control.
- Field Coaching & Ride-Alongs: Conduct regular in-field visits for quality control, safety, and coaching purposes.
