Egypt Education Platform is looking for a vigilant and skilled lifeguard & swimming coach to ensure the safety of swimmers and provide high-quality swimming instruction. This role is essential in promoting water safety and developing swimming skills among learners of all ages.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor swimming areas to ensure the safety of all participants and respond promptly and effectively to emergencies.
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to different age groups and skill levels.
- Teach swimming techniques, water safety skills, and promote healthy and confident swimming habits.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Ensure swimming facilities and equipment are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support swimmers’ development and safety.
- Stay current with lifesaving techniques, first aid, and swimming coaching best practices through ongoing training.
Requirements
- Certification as a professional lifeguard and swimming coach (e.g., from recognized bodies such as the Red Cross or equivalent).
- Proven experience in lifeguarding and swimming instruction.
- Strong knowledge of water safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and build confidence in swimmers of varying ages and abilities.
- Physical fitness and attentiveness essential for surveillance and emergency situations.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and professional development.
