Lifeguard-Recreation Aide-Casual

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

· Ensures the health, safety and well-being of participants by providing close supervision of assigned activities.

· Works with a wide range of age groups to support daily recreational activities including but not limited to arts, crafts, fabrication lab, aquatics, sports and fitness.

· Serves as a positive role model to the participants, motivating and educating individuals to meet their goals.

· Responds to emergency situations, following established emergency protocols.

· Supporting the implementation of sports, games, special events, field trips, and group activities.

· Assists in all tribal holiday parties from set up to tear down.

· Helping to distribute posters and other materials to promote upcoming programs and special events.

· Adhering to and enforcing FCPC policies, procedures, and recreation guidelines.

· Aiding in the upkeep and organization of FCPC facilities and equipment.

What you’ll need to be successful:

· Must be at least 15 years of age.

· Red Cross, Lifeguard certification, Physical swimming skills test CPR and First Aid certified preferred, or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire.

· Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1-2 years of experience in Aquatic Safety
