Job Summary: The lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests engaged in watersports activities or using the resort's aquatic facilities by preventing and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining visual contact with guests during their use of equipment and being fully prepared to render prompt assistance.
- Responding immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
- Identifying and reporting any observed signs or symptoms of illness/injury of a rescued victim to the nurse and the dive supervisor and manager.
- Providing emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Presenting professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications:
- High School Leaving certificate.
- First Aid & CPR Certified.
- Valid lifeguard license.
