What you’ll do…

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests using the swimming pool and surrounding leisure areas.
• Monitor pool activities and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and rescue assistance when required.
• Conduct routine inspections of the pool area, ensuring cleanliness, safety and compliance with operating standards.
• Enforce pool rules and safety procedures while delivering friendly and professional guest service.
• Maintain lifesaving equipment, first aid supplies and safety signage in good working order.
• Support the wider hotel team in creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable guest experience.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly and maintain accurate incident records.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and local statutory regulations.

• Previous experience as a Lifeguard in a hotel, resort, club or similar leisure environment.
• Valid Lifeguard certification with current CPR, First Aid and rescue qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of pool safety procedures, emergency response and guest care.
• Calm, confident and able to make quick decisions in emergency situations.
