Lifeguard

Term of Employment: Hourly, Renewable

15-20 hours/week

Job Description:
The Lifeguard’s primary responsibilities are to provide patron surveillance of the pool area; prevent injuries by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviors; and to enforce facility rules and regulations and educate patrons about them. Recognizes and responds effectively to all emergencies.

Minimum Qualifications:
One year of work experience as a lifeguard, current certifications in Life Guarding, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer w/ AED required.

This position is subject to a criminal background check and Statewide Central Register Database check.

Expected Hiring Salary Range:
$17.76 per hour
