About the Role
YellowDoor Hotels is seeking a certified and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests at its pool facility. The ideal candidate will maintain constant pool surveillance, enforce safety regulations, and respond effectively to emergencies while promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities and maintain continuous surveillance during assigned shifts.
- Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines professionally and consistently.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including water rescues, first aid, and CPR administration.
- Conduct daily inspections of lifesaving and emergency equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Document incidents, safety concerns, and rescue activities.
- Work closely with management and pool staff to maintain a safe pool environment.
- Promote guest safety and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–5 years of lifeguarding experience.
- Valid Lifeguard Certification (RLSS, Red Cross, or equivalent).
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Strong knowledge of water rescue techniques and pool safety procedures.
- Excellent observation, communication, and emergency response skills.
- Ability to remain alert, focused, and professional throughout shifts.
- Experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is an added advantage.
