Summary
Designs and leads wellness activities for seniors, ensuring engagement and well-being while maintaining activity spaces in a community care setting.
Responsibilities
- Design and plan activity programmes to engage the seniors and residents in the community
- Facilitate and lead the session in group or one-on-one settings
- Encourage participation and monitor the engagement and well-being of the seniors
- Tailor and adapt activities to individual interest and physical and health conditions
- Assist in outreach and advocacy activities, including community engagement and health talks
- Oversee general maintenance, cleanliness, and hygiene of activity spaces
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Community Care / Social Services / Healthcare, or a related discipline
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in fitness, wellness, rehabilitation, or geriatric-related settings
- Candidates with certification in music will have an added advantage
- Genuine passion for and enjoyment in working with seniors
