Lift & Escalator Consultant
Summary
Consultant responsible for sales, business development, and project management of lift and escalator advisory services, including audits, modernization projects, and client engagement.
As Lift & Escalator Consultant, you will be responsible for the Sales, Business Development and Project Management of lift advisory and consultancy services within the Industry and Infrastructure (I&I) Division. This role combines technical expertise, client engagement, and project delivery, supporting both business growth and high-quality consultancy outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market sales strategies and tactics to achieve or exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets within the defined scope and geography
- Support management in reviewing, evaluating, and developing strategies across service portfolios to improve profitability and/or achieve market acceptance
- Develop winning business proposals to put forth our value propositions as a leading provider of quality, safety, and sustainable solutions to customers
- Manage the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring a delightful customer experience from acquisition through to after-sales support
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships that deliver tangible results for both clients and business partners
- Perform and review comprehensive lift and escalator audits, assessing the condition of equipment, advising on recommendations, and following up until closure
- Responsible for lift and escalator modernization projects, including schedule, budget and scope, while evaluating contractors on quality, timeliness, delivery compliance and operational efficiency
Key Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Min. 5 years of relevant experience in the lift and escalator industry
- Experience in project management and technical knowledge of lift and escalator systems, including operation, installation and modernization works
- Good understanding of applicable industry codes, regulations, and standards applicable within Built Environment, particularly relating to Lift and Escalator industry
- Target-oriented, analytical, and systematic, with strong problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels
- Good to have: Registration under the IES / ACES Lift & Escalator Inspector (LEI) scheme or qualification as a Professional Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
