Our success is due to our awesome customer service, first-class facilities, majestic scenery, and wild terrain.About the Role:Reporting to the Maintenance Head of Department, the primary role will be the maintenance of our Arial Ropeways and Surface lift Conveyors. This consist of 3 detachable chair lifts, 1 fixed grip and 4 conveyor carpets. As a secondary duty you will be expected to help with the maintenance on our vehicle fleet. This consists of Pisten Bully Groomers, Loader, Digger, Telehandler, Trucks, Utes, Side by Sides and Skidoos. Also, you will have the freedom to get involved in general base building and ski area maintenance.About You:Good at problem solving A positive and proactive attitudeAble to see the bigger picture and respond accordinglyAbility to get the job done and work under pressurePride in your workLove of the outdoorsSkills and Qualifications:Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication background or similar, with NZ recognised Trade Cert’s or Qualified Diesel mechanic or equivalent Hold a NZ driving licenceHave knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical and 24vDC electrical systems repairs Experience with heavy industrial equipment would be advantageous Working at heights and rigging qualifications would be advantageous Roster: 4 days on, 3 days off, 40 hours a week.
