Lifting Equipment Inspector

Summary

Inspects industrial lifting equipment (cranes, forklifts, gears) to ensure safety and compliance with international standards, performs load tests, and documents findings.

  • Conduct lifting equipment inspections, including overhead cranes, mobile cranes, tower cranes, forklifts, lifting gears and accessories., ensuring compliance with international standards.
  • Conduct load testing and ensure equipment safety and operational compliance.
  • Accurately complete all required inspection and technical reports.
  • Work constructively with client's representatives and facility personnel to ensure accurate results.
  • Maintain regular communication with office staff with reference to job status, problems, concerns, etc.
  • Perform load test operations for lifting equipment to verify capacity and safety under operational conditions.
  • Stay current with and adhere to the latest industry and client procedures and standards provided by Manager and/or Office staff. Understand and comply with individual Client Instructions and requirements and maintain good client relations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections across industrial machinery, electronics, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned and outlined by the Business Manager.
  • Understand and comply with Company procedures for Safety, Field Operations, and reporting
  • Make continuous improvement and innovation through investigation and recommendations to designated supervisor.
  • Bachelor’s degree – Engineering
  • Certified by Lifting Equipment Engineers Association LEEA.
  • Experience in inspection of lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
  • Good knowledge of safety procedures and international standards.
  • Candidates with field experience and additional safety certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • Positive and learning attitude.
