Functional roles and responsibilities

To deliver items/products from the warehouse to the retail stores as per the process and ensure proper documentation is maintained with high customer satisfaction.

Receive the vehicle delivery schedule from the delivery supervisor and deliver the vehicle to the stores at the specified date and time.

Ensure the items are handled with care and delivered to the stores without any damages.

Handle all complaints and concerns of the stores related to the delivery process and damages caused during transportation of items courteously, and escalate them to the delivery supervisor or customer service for appropriate resolution.

Organize and maintain all the store acknowledgements and receipts, and submit them to the delivery supervisor.

Ensure the delivery vehicle is roadworthy and in good condition.

Maintain HSE practices in the working environment to minimize the opportunity of property damage and injury to self and colleagues. Proactively remind colleagues to behave in line with the HSE processes defined by the company.

Check and verify the cartons before and during vehicle loading for quality and quantity checks.

All returns and store-to-warehouse or store transfers stocks are duly handed over to the warehouse storekeeper on the same day and acknowledgement is obtained as proof of delivery.

Qualification & experience

• High school or pre-degree
• 1 to 2 years furniture or retail delivery experience
• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer handling skills
• Valid UAE driving license (category 3 manual)
