POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Light Duty Roll-off Driver
POSITION SUMMARY:
The light duty roll-off truck driver position is a non-CDL role that is responsible for delivering & picking up dumpsters and disposing at various sites & transfer stations in an appropriate manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operates light duty roll-off trucks
- Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports
- Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Ability to operate safely within DOT rules and regulations
- Participate in company safety programs
- Maintains and protects all property
- Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles
- Fuels truck at the end of each workday
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Have a valid Minnesota Class D License
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- Driver must be minimum of 18 years old per DOT.
Education and/or experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must have a clean driving record

Outdoor environment; exposure to extreme weather conditions; work with and around heavy machinery; exposure to dust and fumes from motorized equipment; exposure to noise, odors and gases; exposure to heavy traffic conditions, possible exposure to toxic chemicals.
