ABC Wrecker is looking for dependable, customer-focused drivers to join our growing team. As a Light Duty Tow Truck Driver, you'll respond to service calls, assist stranded motorists, transport vehicles safely, and provide excellent customer service on every call.

What You'll Do

• Operate a light-duty tow truck and transport vehicles safely
• Respond to roadside service, towing, recovery, and transport calls
• Work closely with Dispatch to provide timely service
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations
• Complete required paperwork and electronic documentation accurately
• Use company technology such as GPS, Samsara, and TowBook
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude with customers
• Assist with other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous towing, transportation, recovery, or commercial driving experience preferred
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Tow truck experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates

Physical Requirements

This position is active and hands-on. Drivers should be able to:

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity
• Safely enter and exit a truck multiple times throughout the day
• Work around moving vehicles and mechanical equipment
