Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Light Vehicle Driver cum Electrical Technician Helper to support our operations in transporting materials, tools, and personnel to project sites and assisting electrical technicians with installations and maintenance tasks. This role requires a valid UAE manual driving license and a willingness to support technical teams with basic electrical work.
Key
Responsibilities:
1. Driving and Logistics
- Safely operate light vehicles with manual transmission to transport personnel, tools, and materials to various project locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of assigned vehicles by performing routine inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow UAE traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from the vehicle as required.
2. Technical Assistance
- Assist electrical technicians in installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Handle tools and equipment responsibly, ensuring proper use and storage.
- Perform basic tasks such as cable pulling, material handling, and general site preparation.
- Adhere to safety protocols on project sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
3. Compliance and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption as per company policies.
- Report any safety hazards, vehicle issues, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Assist in documenting site activities and project progress when required.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in the UAE with a valid UAE manual driving license.
- Previous experience as a technician helper or similar role is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to handle tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, and cable cutters.
