Lighting Designer
Summary
Designs lighting systems for architectural and commercial projects, coordinating with teams and clients to deliver creative, on-time solutions using AutoCAD and Photoshop.
Job Description
- Prepare conceptual and detailed lighting designs
- Involve in all project stages from planning, designing, marketing through to commissioning
- Co-ordinate and follow up on projects to ensure they are completed on time and without cost overrun
- Preparation of project proposals including co-ordination of inputs from other disciplines
- Presentation of proposals/projects to prospective clients
- Ensure all project documentation are maintained to a level as required by the Company’s quality standards
- Constantly provide high quality service and creative solutions to clients to strengthen client loyalty and gain repeat business
Job Requirement
- Tertiary education in Lighting Design / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Possess high level of communication skills (verbal & written) and able to interact with people of different background
- Ability to think creatively and come up with original ideas for the projects
- Resourceful and attentive to detail
- An excellent team player who is highly motivated and committed
- Strong proficiency in Autocad & Photoshop
- Knowledge in Revit will be an added advantage
