Love Cooking? Come Work Somewhere You Can Grow.
Hudson’s Restaurant & Catering is looking for experienced Line Cooks who genuinely enjoy cooking and take pride in what they put on the plate.
We’re a chef-owned, family-operated restaurant where our kitchen team gets to do more than simply execute the same menu every day.
Between our restaurant, weekly specials, catering, private events, seasonal menus, and immersive pop-up bars, our cooks have opportunities to work with different ingredients, techniques, menus, and styles of service throughout the year.
If you’re looking for a kitchen where your experience is valued, your ideas are welcome, and there’s always something new to learn, we’d like to meet you.
Why Cooks Join Hudson’s—and Stay
Work With Chefs Who Still Love to Cook
Hudson’s is owned and operated by brothers JJ and Kevin Altomare, graduates of The Culinary Institute of America, who have spent more than 20 years building their restaurant and catering business in Northeast Ohio.
This is a hands-on operation.
Our owners and management team work alongside our staff, and we believe some of the best learning in this industry happens when experienced cooks and chefs work together.
If you want to learn, we want to teach.
Be a Cook—not Just Someone Working a Station
We want our cooks to understand why they're doing something, not simply how to follow a recipe.
Depending on your experience and interests, you'll have opportunities to continue developing skills in:
- Sauté, grill, fry, and other stations
- Meat and seafood cookery
- Stocks, sauces, and soups
- Knife skills and fabrication
- Prep and production
- Plating and presentation
- Speed, organization, and mise en place
- Catering and banquet production
- High-volume execution
- Menu development
- Kitchen leadership
The more you want to learn, the more we want to teach you.
Your Ideas Are Welcome
Some of the best ideas in a kitchen come from the people cooking the food every day.
We encourage our cooks to think creatively, contribute ideas, and get involved with specials and seasonal menus.
If there's a dish you've been wanting to create or a technique you'd like to develop, we want to hear about it.
Never the Same Restaurant All Year
One of the things that makes Hudson’s different is the variety.

There’s always something new happening in our kitchen.

The Cook We’re Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in the craft.
You don't need to know everything—we certainly don't expect you to.
But you should want to keep learning.
Our strongest candidates:

- Understand mise en place and station organization
- Can maintain quality while working with urgency
