Landmark Hotel Group is seeking a PM Line Cook for the Hilton Garden Inn located at 100 E. Constance Road, Suffolk, Virginia 23434.
Core Responsibilities:

Complete opening duties:
- Set up work station with required tools, equipment, and supplies according to standards.
- Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Check production schedule and pars.
- Establish priority items for the day.
- Inform the Chef/Kitchen Mgr. of any supplies that need to be requisitioned for the day's tasks.
- Transport supplies from the storeroom and stock in designated areas.
- Start prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day.
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides according to department standards.
- Inform the Chef/ Kitchen Mgr. of any shortages before the item runs out.
- Inform F&B service staff of 86'd items and the amount of available menu specials throughout the meal period.
Qualifications:

- One Year experience as a line cook at a hotel or full-service restaurant
- ability to obtain Food Handling and Sanitation Certification within four weeks of hire
- Commensurate or transfer skill set is of primary importance
- Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required

Estimated Pay Range: $15.00 - 16.00 per hour.
