Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

1111 is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and is committed to preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Assist with food preparation, including cutting, portioning, and organizing ingredients.
• Set up, maintain, and clean workstations throughout the shift.
• Operate kitchen equipment including grills, ovens, fryers, and other cooking equipment.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards at all times.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met.
• Assist with inventory organization, product storage, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Support fellow kitchen team members during service and preparation periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook, Cook, Prep Cook, or similar culinary role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent use of hands, arms, and repetitive motions associated with food preparation and cooking.
• Ability to safely work around hot surfaces, kitchen equipment, and cooking appliances.

Environmental Conditions

• Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, varying temperatures, and food preparation equipment.
• Use of cleaning chemicals and electrical equipment.
• Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and hot kitchen conditions.
