Line Run Manager — Lead Our Intercity Line Run Operation
Every day, travelers book a seat between Maryland and New York. We make sure the bus shows up.
Adventure Tours operates scheduled intercity service for a major national bus network. Our partner sells the tickets and plans the routes. We bring the coaches, the drivers and the know-how to run 8+ daily trips from Maryland to New York, on time, every time.
We're looking for a Line Run Manager to own that operation from the first departure to the last arrival. If you've ever wanted to run a scheduled service people count on to get home, to school and to work, and to be measured by results, this is your seat.

Who we are
Adventure Tours has moved people since 1999. We started in Clinton, MD with a few buses and grew into a motorcoach operator running charter, line run and shuttle service from five markets: Accokeek MD, Philadelphia PA, Long Island NY, Richmond VA and Charlotte NC. We run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
What you'll own
- On-time performance. Every departure leaves on schedule and every arrival lands on time. You track punctuality daily, find the causes of delays and fix them.
- Driver coverage. Build and manage the line run driver schedule so every trip is covered, with backups ready for call-outs.
- The client partnership. Be the day-to-day point of contact for our partner's operations team. Report delays, cancellations and incidents fast and accurately, and meet the partner's service standards and procedures.
- Driver performance and training. Onboard drivers to partner procedures, including boarding, ticket scanning, luggage, passenger service and uniform standards. Coach, ride-check and hold drivers accountable.
- Fleet readiness. Work with maintenance so every coach is clean, branded, inspected and road-ready before it rolls.
- Compliance. Keep drivers within FMCSA hours-of-service limits and keep logs, inspections and records audit-ready.
- Incidents and recovery. Lead the response to breakdowns, accidents, weather and missed connections, and get passengers moving again.
- Reporting and improvement. Track KPIs including on-time departures and arrivals, trip completion, complaints and incidents. Share results with the Director of Operations and drive improvements.
- New lines. Help launch new routes and schedule changes as the network grows.
