Line Server

A line server is responsible for serving food to customers in a restaurant setting. They work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to handle multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items according to recipes and customer requests
  • Set up serving stations with food, utensils, and condiments
  • Keep serving areas clean and organized
  • Assist customers with food choices and answer questions about menu items
  • Restock food items and supplies as needed
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Work as part of a team to ensure efficient service

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
