POSITION: Line Support II – 2nd Shift

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

Position Summary

Execute production processes across Candy Room, Mixing, Roasting, and Palletizing to meet quality, safety, food safety, and production standards.

Essential Functions

  • Execute the daily production schedule to meet customer orders.
  • Perform roasting and mixing of product, including operating and monitoring equipment to ensure products are produced according to established recipes and production specifications.
  • Ensure timely and accurate production of product, including setup of equipment and supplies, to maintain processing standards.
  • Operate and monitor production equipment in the Candy Room, Mixing, Roasting, and Palletizing areas to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting to maintain production standards and minimize downtime.
  • Perform required quality checks and take appropriate action when products or processes do not meet specifications.
  • Coordinate with and provide support to other production areas as needed to maintain production flow and meet the daily schedule.
  • Perform palletizing and material handling activities, including proper stacking, labeling, and movement of finished product.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork to company standards.
  • Adhere to the allergen control program guidelines, including equipment cleaning and verification activities.
  • Take corrective action as assigned by the Supervisor based on pre-operation and daily self-assessment audit findings.
  • Participate in investigating issues, identifying root causes, and developing solutions for issues that arise in the production area.
  • Take actions necessary to resolve food safety and quality deficiencies.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and preserve the integrity of the environmental health and safety system through adherence to the policies and procedures outlined in the safety program.
  • Participate in mandatory training program requirements.
  • Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education/Experience)

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Food manufacturing experience desired.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with peers and leadership.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, convey equipment issues, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to organize and multitask.
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with little supervision.
  • Willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business need.

FLSA Designation: This position is Non-Exempt and is eligible for overtime.
