Job Summary
You will manage linen issuance and inventory, control the movement of fresh linen, handle soiled and damaged linen per protocol, and record uniform issuance and returns to support hospital operations.
Responsibilities
- Issue linen accurately to meet operational needs
- Maintain and update inventory records of linen to ensure stock accuracy
- Control the movement of fresh linen to support timely distribution
- Handle soiled and damaged linen following company protocols to maintain hygiene standards
- Circulate clean uniforms appropriately and record uniform issuance and returns to ensure accountability
- Operate equipment such as sewing machines, washing machines, and dryers after training
- Work independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently in a non-air-conditioned environment
- Handle heavy loads safely as part of daily duties
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn and operate linen-related equipment (sewing machine, washing machine, dryer)
- Basic English comprehension to understand instructions and communicate effectively
- Must be willing to work in a non-air-conditioned environment and handle heavy loads as part of the role.
