Linen Operator 1st Shift
Summary
Operates industrial linen processing equipment to feed clean linens through automated ironing, folding, and packaging machines. Inspects products for quality, handles basic repairs by pulling items for mending, and packages/stacks finished goods on shelves. Full-time non-exempt role at $20/hour with potential seasonal overtime.
The responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the following:
- Efficiently and safely feed clean linens into automated ironing, folding & packaging equipment
- Inspect product for quality, pulling items for mending & re-washing as necessary
- Work with the best Production Manager this side of the pond
- Once fully trained, job will include various tasks such as packaging product using appropriate tagging & wrapping procedures and stacking finished product on shelves.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours a week. Some seasonal overtime may be an option.
Physical Demands:
Standing or walking 100% of the day except during breaks. Must be able to push or pull poly carts for some positions.
Benefits:
Paid $20.00/hour
