About the role
We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to manage and support critical infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments. The role covers RHEL-based systems, infrastructure automation, security compliance, monitoring, and Level 3 incident support.
Key responsibilities
Install, configure, harden, patch, and maintain Linux servers, primarily running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Tune operating systems, troubleshoot performance issues, and support capacity planning
Manage storage, networking, and system configurations, including LVM and kernel parameters
Provide Level 3 support for Linux incidents and participate in standby and on-call support when required
Support high availability and disaster recovery configurations
Develop automation using Ansible, Bash, and Python for provisioning, patching, and configuration management
Use BigFix for patch deployment, software distribution, endpoint management, and compliance reporting
Monitor system health, logs, alerts, and performance using tools such as Zabbix
Investigate system bottlenecks, kernel issues, and application dependencies to maintain service availability
Remediate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with internal policies, CIS benchmarks, security standards, and audit requirements
About you
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in an infrastructure engineering or Linux administration role supporting critical systems
Strong hands-on experience with RHEL/Linux, including LVM, networking, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Experience developing infrastructure automation with Ansible and shell scripting
Proficiency in Bash and working knowledge of Python
Experience supporting large-scale production environments
Understanding of Linux security hardening, patch management, and compliance requirements
Ability to provide 24×7 standby or on-call support when required
Strong working knowledge of banking technology environments
Preferred: Red Hat certification, such as RHCSA or RHCE
