Requirements:

• At least 4 years of professional open-source systems experience
• A bright mind (usually PhD, but some have no degree at all)
• Proficiency in Python and Bash
• Ideally experienced in Linux System Administration
• Knowledge of Puppet would be beneficial
• Experience with or curiosity about functional programming languages from Scala to Lisp
• Familiarity with BSD, Git, or Darcs
• Ideally skilled in build/deployment technologies like Maven, CMake, and Rake

Skills:

You will probably have experience with:

• Scala, Ocaml, F#, Java
• Linux High-Performance Computing (HPC) and High-Frequency Trading (HFT) Systems Infrastructure
• Linux troubleshooting and virtualization, including KVM and VirtualBox
• Network protocols like BGP, OSPF, VRRP
• Cisco IOS, F5, IPSEC
