• At least 4 years' professional open-source systems experience
• A bright mind (usually PhD but some have no degree at all)
• Python, Bash experience
• Ideally Linux SE Puppet experience
• Functional programming experience (Scala to Lisp)
• BSD Git or Darcs familiarity
• Ideally, knowledge of build/deployment technologies such as Maven, CMake, and Rake
