Linux System Administrator (HPC / DevOps / Infrastructure) Germany

Open 30d posting dated yesterday

Summary

Maintain and secure Linux servers, HPC clusters, and distributed storage for autonomous-driving ML workloads using Ansible, Slurm, and Ceph.

Join a team building the infrastructure behind autonomous driving technology. We run high-performance computing environments for machine learning, and we're looking for a Linux engineer who enjoys keeping complex systems fast, stable, and secure.
You don't need to tick every box below — if you're a strong Linux person excited to grow into HPC, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:
Keep our Linux infrastructure running smoothly — servers, web services, ERP, mail, LDAP, messaging
Work with HPC clusters for machine learning workloads (Slurm, Ceph — or similar tools you'll pick up)
Automate infrastructure and provisioning with Ansible
Keep our distributed systems stable, fast, and secure

What we're looking for:
Solid hands-on Linux administration (Ubuntu / Debian preferred)
Comfort working in C++-based environments (you don't need to be a C++ developer)
Some experience with — or genuine interest in — HPC, job schedulers (Slurm), and distributed storage (Ceph)
Familiarity with infrastructure automation (Ansible or similar)
A good grasp of networking and security basics

Nice to have:
Python, Rust, or CUDA
Low-level Linux / kernel knowledge
Web or backend background

What's in it for you:
Work at the cutting edge of autonomous driving
Flexible working hours
Fast-moving engineering culture
Competitive pay + stock options
Fully remote within Germany
