Linux System Administrator

Location: Monterey, CA
Work location: On-site (no remote support)
Clearance Requirement: TS, must be eligible for access to Secure Compartmented Information (SCI)
Travel: Occasional travel to Stennis Space Center, MS, including minimally a 1-week trip for training at the start of the task
Anticipated start date: 07 SEP 2026 (subject to change)

LATG is hiring a Linux Systems Administrator. This position will require regular review and maintenance of the CDS environment, implementation of tasking and updates, and providing emergency break=fix support as needed.

NOTE: There is an expectation that the performer will be able to reasonably respond to occasional after hours/weekend calls to provide support should CDS operations break during these periods.

The ask is not for 24/7 support; and times where the candidate would not be available for after-hours support can be coordinated with the team lead. We anticipate that the current approximate average of 4 hours of after-hours support per month will actually be less with consistent Linux administration support to the CDS systems that this position will be providing.

Performer requirements:
- Note: Experience with CDS administration would definitely be a plus, but is not required.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science *or* CompTIA Security+ Certification
Training in Red Hat Enterprise Linux
3-years experience in RedHat Enterprise Linux administration
Knowledge of Apace NiFi software components and configuration
Clearance: TS/SCI Eligibility. Routine SCIF and SCI level access will be required to perform CDS administration, installation, and maintenance activities for JWICS connected CDSs. As a privileged user, the background investigation required is Tier 5 (formerly known as SSBI).
Ability to travel to Stennis Space Center for 2 one-week periods for training
