Linux Systems Administrator - Intermediate

- One of our Navy clients is seeking support for administration of an operational system located at FNMOC. This position will require regular review, monitoring and maintenance of the environment, implementation of tasking and updates, and providing emergency break=fix support as needed.
- There will be a need to reasonably respond to occasional after hours/weekend calls to provide support should operations break during these periods. This is not 24/7 support, but occasional coverage as needed.
- Tasking: Tasking to include:
- System Monitoring and Log Management
- System Maintenance and Security
- User Support and Account Management
- Endpoint, Bridge Server, and Data Flow Administration
- Performer requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science *or* CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Training in Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- 3-years experience in RedHat Enterprise Linux administration
- Knowledge of Apace NiFi software components and configuration
- Clearance: TS/SCI Eligibility.
- Ability to occasionally travel to Stennis Space Center for 2 one-week periods for training
