Lipscomb Academy - Teaching Assistant, SEED School

The teacher’s aide provides support to classroom teachers. They assist with a variety of functions, including implementing instructional programs, assessing student performance and other tasks as needed by the instructor.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing lesson plans based on state requirements and the specific needs of each child.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor the development of each child.
• Work with children in the classroom to promote their learning and development.
• Communicate with parents and keep them informed about their child’s development and any changes to the regular day-to-day schedule.
• Perform other related duties
