Responsibilities

As a Liquids Project Manager, you play a central role in supporting and driving strategic projects within our Liquids division.

You act as the link between business ideas and operational execution. Whether it's exploring a new service offering, evaluating a tank storage opportunity, setting up a new terminal partnership, expanding our blending activities, developing liquid value-added services or launching a new business initiative, you translate concepts into concrete business plans and actionable projects.

You work closely with management, customers, suppliers and operational teams to assess feasibility, build business cases and ensure successful implementation. Throughout the process, you challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and make sure all stakeholders remain aligned.

Beyond project work, you also become a key point of contact within the Liquids division, ensuring smooth day-to-day coordination between internal and external partners.

This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to directly contribute to the future growth and development of MPL's Liquids business.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting strategic and operational projects within the Liquids division.
• Translating new ideas and business opportunities into concrete business cases and implementation plans.
• Assessing the commercial, operational and financial viability of new initiatives.
• Evaluating opportunities related to blending activities, tank storage solutions and other liquid value-added services.
• Coordinating stakeholders across Operations, Commercial and Management teams.
• Evaluating tank storage opportunities, partnerships and new business developments.
• Acting as the key point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders involved in ongoing projects.
• Supporting the development of new services, processes and business activities, including tank storage, blending and liquid value-added services.
• Following up on project timelines, deliverables and implementation milestones.
• Identifying operational impacts and ensuring smooth integration with existing business processes.
• Monitoring project performance and proposing improvements where needed.
• Providing analyses and recommendations to management to support decision-making.
• Contributing to the continued growth and professionalization of the Liquids division.

Requirements

At MPL, we turn knowledge into action. Who are we looking for?

• You have at least 5 years of experience within logistics, tank storage, liquid logistics or a related environment.
• You have a good understanding of tank storage operations and the broader liquids supply chain.
• Experience within isotanks, flexitanks, tank storage, blending or liquid value-added services is a strong asset.
• You combine strong analytical skills with commercial awareness.
• You enjoy translating ideas into practical solutions and actionable plans.
• You are comfortable building business cases and evaluating investments, partnerships and new business opportunities.
• You can easily connect with different stakeholders, from operational teams to senior management and external partners.
• You take ownership and are able to drive projects forward independently.
• You are organized, structured and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience within isotank, flexitank, tank storage or liquid bulk logistics is a strong asset.
