Litigation Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense

Pay: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year

Location

Wilmington, DE | Hybrid Flexibility. We offer the possibility of working from home a few days per week, depending on your litigation schedule. In-person availability for court appearances and proceedings is essential.

Note

Delaware Bar admission is required, although candidates expecting admission in December 2026 will be considered. Civil litigation or workers' compensation experience is strongly preferred. Attorneys must be available for in-person litigation proceedings in Delaware.

Job Description

• Manage your own litigation files and cases from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, negotiations, and court proceedings.
• Develop effective litigation strategies and collaborate with experienced attorneys.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case developments, and provide practical legal guidance.
• Build strong client relationships while handling a diverse caseload.

Qualifications

• Admission to the Delaware Bar in good standing, or anticipated admission in December 2026.
• Civil litigation experience preferred, ideally 1+ years.
• Background in insurance defense, workers' compensation, or commercial litigation is a plus.
• Ability to manage cases independently and meet litigation deadlines.
• Strong legal writing, research, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to attend court and other litigation proceedings in person.
