Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyer

Campbells is seeking to recruit a lawyer to join our market leading Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring team, based in our Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth of Campbells Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring practice by taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of cases, drafting court documents, taking an active role in business development and marketing the department to existing and potential clients.


Requirements

Applicants should be admitted in the Cayman Islands or the British Virgin Islands (or be eligible to be admitted in one of those jurisdictions), together with:


  • A minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience with a leading law firm or set of chambers, working on a broad range of complex, cross-border disputes, including commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, insolvency and restructuring matters, fraud and asset recovery, enforcement proceedings, and international arbitration, involving Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands entities;
  • Relevant professional and academic qualifications, including at least a 2:1 law degree from a reputable institution;
  • Experience working in a leading international or offshore law firm;
  • Proficiency in advocacy and presentation, with a reputation for precise and persuasive communication;
  • A proven ability to manage complex cases, with expertise in drafting, legal research, and reviewing;
  • Demonstrated ability to provide rapid, accurate, and commercially sound advice to clients within demanding deadlines; and
  • Experience contributing to a cohesive, results-driven team.
