About the Role
Qualicare Home Care Central NJ is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide in-home care services in Skillman, NJ.
We are looking for dedicated caregivers who enjoy helping individuals with daily activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
- Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating and hydration.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in daily activities.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
- Observe and report changes in client condition.
- Maintain accurate records of daily care activities.
- Communicate with clients, families, and the care team.
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey CHHA certification required.
- Previous home care experience preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
- Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable transportation to client locations.
- Ability to follow individual care plans.
- Availability for assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends when applicable.
