Experienced Caregivers Needed in San Antonio – Live-in Home Care
CareFor is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes.
CareFor is searching for experienced caregivers who can work in North-Central San Antonio, TX, for steady, on-going live-in shifts.
These shifts are not in Austin—please apply only if you can reliably commute to the North-Central San Antonio area.

What You'll Do:

Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, mobility, eating, and toileting

Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
-
Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
-
Follow care plans and training to deliver high-quality, respectful care

Cook basic meals for the client

Drive clients to appointments and/or run errands for clients

Communicate clearly with clients, families, and the CareFor team to ensure continuity of care

Sleep in an apartment above the garage, separate from the client's home

Important Work Environment Requirement: The client smokes inside their home. Applicants must be comfortable working in an environment where they may be exposed to cigarette smoke and secondhand smoke during their shift. The caregiver apartment is separate from the client's residence, not exposed to the smoke.

Required Qualifications:

At least 23 years old
-
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
-
Reliable transportation to drive yourself and the client in San Antonio

Ability to pass a comprehensive background check

At least 5 years of professional caregiving experience
