LLP - Operations Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Advanced Level of English in both verbal and written is a must.
- Experience in LLP operations in the Supply Chain division and multi-modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea).
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain operations.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- International freight experience and experience in Carrier Management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers and other suppliers.
- Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
- Ability to analyze operational performance and develop improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with compliance and legislative requirements in logistics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in relevant systems and platforms used in logistics and supply chain management.
Job Description:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers and other suppliers to ensure that targets are met.
- Take action on escalations from the operations department and resolve issues promptly.
- Proactively communicate operational changes to carriers.
- Track carrier performance on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring KPI reporting to the manager.
- Follow continuous improvement processes to enhance carrier performance.
- Play an effective role in resolving vehicle capacity issues and providing solutions.
- Collect and approve spot vehicle offers with the manager’s approval.
- Contribute to the development of the carrier portfolio and support procurement activities to the Carrier Manager.
- Keep all documents related to carrier management updated and ensure carrier fleets meet quality and compliance standards.
- Support carrier onboarding processes and visit relevant locations for audits, development, and project assignments.
- Propose process optimization suggestions and ensure effective implementation of these changes.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality management systems in all operational processes.
- Participate in risk assessment studies and ensure all employees are trained to carry out their jobs safely and competently.
- Participate contract negotiations related to supplier contracts and ensure compliance with legal and operational requirements.
- Manage Claims and Return flows and supervise responsible teams.
