Qualifications:
•Import, Export, Logistics and Supply Chain operations knowledge
•Minimum 2 years experience in Seaway Freight operations
•Minimum upper intermediate in English both verbal and writing is a must
•Microsoft Office Programs knowledge (Excel must, Power BI and OTM knowledge is a plus)
•High customer focus and teamwork spirit
•Clear understanding of KPI and basic knowledge of KPI preparation
•Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
•Problem solving and crisis management in critical daily issues
•Having strong customer relationship management skill
Job Description:
•New destination and/or material creation on tracking system
•Tracking new orders from the suppliers and uploading orders to tracking system
•Communicating with selected Carriers for container availability and making bookings
•Spot shipment arrangement in case needed
•Updating tracking system with ETS, ETA details based on Carrier booking
•Checking shipping instructions from suppliers and other documents (Invoice, PL, etc.)
•Tracking all in transit shipments and in case of ETA changes, asking for root cause from carriers and updating new ETA on tracking system
•Tracking actual arrivals with carriers and updating on tracking system
•Sharing daily status reports
•Daily problem escalation and informing customer about delays
•Non-value added cost and demurrage control on daily basis and root cause analysing
