Summary
Loads and wraps pallets in a grocery warehouse, inspects orders for damage, and follows safety protocols during shifts.
Our Loaders are responsible for wrapping and loading pallets onto our trailers using a pallet jack. Employees may work in the dry or cooler departments of our warehouse. Candidates must have excellent organizational skills to ensure pallets are loaded correctly.
Loaders make a flat hourly rate, plus a piece rate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wrap pallets according to standards to ensure proper transport
- Perform visual inspections of items to ensure orders are correct, undamaged, and ready for shipment
- Load pallets onto truck in correct order
- Operate equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
Shift/Hours: 2nd shift Sunday-Thursday. Your shift time starts in the afternoon and will last until the work is done. You will have every Friday and Saturday off.
