At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Loan Coordinator / Lender Liaison to ensure loan files move efficiently from submission through closing.

This role serves as the primary bridge between internal teams and lending partners, keeping loan files organized, coordinating documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring every deadline is met. What You’ll Do

Lender Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with lending partners.
  • Maintain regular communication throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Follow up on outstanding lender requests and documentation.
  • Escalate issues proactively to prevent funding or closing delays.

Loan Pipeline Management

  • Monitor active loan files from submission through closing.
  • Maintain accurate loan status updates and progress tracking.
  • Review loan reports and identify delays or missing documentation.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of loan progress and next steps.

Internal Coordination

  • Work with internal teams to gather required documentation.
  • Coordinate responses to underwriting conditions and lender requests.
  • Support timely submission of loan packages.
  • Ensure deadlines and timelines remain on track.

Documentation & File Management

  • Organize and maintain complete loan files.
  • Record correspondence and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and loan management system records.
  • Verify file completeness before key milestones and closing.

Process Improvement

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies.
  • Recommend improvements to loan coordination processes.
  • Support standardized procedures for lender communication and pipeline management.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience in loan coordination, loan processing, mortgage operations, lender relations, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage and lending process.
  • Experience managing loan files from submission through closing.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple active loan files simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Google Workspace.
  • High attention to detail and deadline management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and availability for 30+ hours per week.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with DSCR, investment-property, or non-QM loans.
  • Experience supporting real estate investors.
  • Familiarity with Encompass, LendingPad, Jungo, Salesforce, or similar loan platforms.
  • Background in real estate operations or acquisitions.
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based mortgage lenders or brokers.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Review active loan files and lender updates.
  • Follow up on outstanding conditions and documentation.
  • Coordinate with lenders, underwriters, and internal teams.
  • Update loan statuses and CRM records.
  • Track deadlines and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Ensure loan files are complete before closing.
