Loan Documentation Specialist
Quaint Oak Bank Loan Documentation Specialist
- Work with the Credit Analysts, Commercial Relationship Manager, Attorneys, SBA 7a team in preparing settlement documentation packages in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and legibility of data entry and documentation for new credit facilities, existing loan modifications, and satisfactions
- Communicate with customers, lending personnel, bank counsel, loan servicing personnel, insurance companies and title companies
- Post-closing responsibilities include the review and audit of loan documentation to ensure proper execution of documents, verification of loan funding, file UCCs and other compliance related duties
- Process search requests for the Credit Analysts
- Engage bank approved appraisers and environmental firms
- Additional duties and responsibilities as they may apply
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Must be proficient in LaserPro (minimum 5 years’ experience)
- Thorough understanding of commercial loan documentation including Commercial Real Estate, C&I, SBA 504, SBA 7a, construction, modifications and satisfactions.
- General understanding of credit analysis
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to speak effectively with customers, employees of the organization, and third-party institutions
- Ability to read and interpret documents, effectively write routine reports and correspondence
