Location: University Park Terminal (University Park, IL)
Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 / hour + Time-and-a-Half Overtime after 40 hours
Sign-On / Transitional Bonus: Up to $1,500.00 (With $1,000 paid right after completion of your 2nd week!)
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Monday–Friday | Optional Weekend Work Available
Equipment: Late-Model, Well-Maintained Tractors with Automatic Transmissions
Freight Type: 100% No-Touch Intermodal Containers

Responsibilities & Equipment:
- Operate late-model, well-maintained tractors equipped with automatic transmissions for a smoother, safer shift.
- Transport 100% no-touch intermodal containers safely to and from regional rail ramps and customer locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to maintain strict DOT compliance.
- Maintain clean, compliant electronic logs (ELD) and be willing to run all legal hours of service.
- Cooperate smoothly with dispatch; no refusals of dispatch.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.
- Intermodal Experience: Prior container hauling experience is required.
- Licensure: Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT Medical Card.
- Background: Clean driving record and excellent MVR.
- Professionalism: Excellent attendance record and a proven history of dedication and longevity at previous jobs.
