LOCAL DRIVER
Summary:
Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to their destinations in and around the Rio Grande Valley or can be assigned to a warehouse. This includes following all traffic laws and regulations, perform pre/post trip inspections, document the delivery and loading process, as well as maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
- Check commercial vehicle to ensure that it is in good conditions to operate.
- Understanding of driving responsibilities.
- Deliver cargo to businesses and warehouses in a timely manner.
- Able to work flexible schedule.
- Maintain logs of working hours, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Ability to work in a fast-passed environment.
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Maintain up to date CDL license and medial card.
- Participate un random drug testing in compliance with FMCSA and company standards.
Routes:
- Starr county.
- Hidalgo county.
- Cameron county.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday.
- 8 am to 5 pm.
Requirements:
- Driver's License (class A).
- 2+ years' experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to follow directions.
- No SAP program.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Dry van experience preferred.
