Local Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle hauling loads from transfer stations to landfills in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Navigate, position, and prepare trailers for safe tipping, including untarping prior to unloading
• Unhook trailer and safely complete the tipping process
• Retarp the trailer before leaving the landfill, ensuring no debris is hanging off the trailer
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR)
• Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or equipment issues promptly to Operations and Safety
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, along with company safety policies

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday
• Saturday work based on business needs.
• 3 Runs per day

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Able to work more than 10 hours shifts.
• Clean driving record with consistent employment.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
