Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Local Non CDL Yard Driver to join our team in Acworth, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving trailers within the yard and between dock doors, ensuring smooth and efficient yard operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate yard equipment to move trailers within the yard and between dock doors.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Maintain clear communication with yard supervisors and dock personnel.
• Perform daily inspections of yard equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Ensure trailers are properly positioned for loading and unloading.
• Be home daily with local routes and yard operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Non CDL driver qualification.
• Clear motor vehicle driving history
• Must pass a prehire drug screening.
• Experience operating yard equipment and moving trailers within a yard environment.
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to company policies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate logs and documentation
