Local Truck Driver Class B or Non-CDL

- Transport finished goods and or raw materials between the manufacturing plant and warehouse.
- Load/Unload material using a motorized pallet jack/forklift and secure product for safe transport.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance by performing pre and post shift inspections.
- Work in a safe manner on customer docks while wearing all required safety equipment.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Report defects, accidents or violations immediately
- Use electronic tablet and software to identify material ready to be loaded and moved between building
- Maintain vehicle operation and cleanliness.
Requirements
- At least 23 years of age.
- Valid Class B and Non CDL License.
- Minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
- Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- Lift and move products and pallets which may weigh up to 60 pounds.
- Satisfactory Employment Verifications for the past 3 years.
- No more than 2 Moving Violations and 1 at fault accident in the past 3 years.
- No DUIs in the past 5 years.
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD, etc.).
