LOCK AND DAM OPERATOR SUPERVISOR

About the Position: This position serves as a supervisor at a large Lock and Dam facility located within the IMTS, exercising first line supervisory responsibility over a staff of full time and seasonal lock and dam operators.

Oversee lock and dam operations and maintenance, assigning tasks to a diverse crew working rotating shifts.

Plan and adjust work schedules and resources to meet operational priorities and resolve issues.

Provide hands-on technical guidance and inspect work quality to ensure compliance with standards.

Manage employee performance, training, leave, and disciplinary actions.

Serve as acting site supervisor and manage credit card purchases in absence of Lockmaster.
